Closing and archiving a campaign
This article applies if a recruitment is over, or if you want to close a campaign to all its partners and to any new candidate.
In short
Close shuts the campaign: no candidate can be added any more, by you or by your partners, and links already sent stay valid until they expire. Thirty days after closing, the campaign is archived automatically. Archive done manually goes further: every ongoing assessment link expires immediately. In both cases, reports remain available under Archived campaigns.
Steps
- Open the campaign, then click Close campaign.
- If needed, adjust the delay before automatic archiving (30 days by default).
- To archive without waiting, click Archive. This expires every ongoing invitation: a candidate who has not finished can no longer open their assessment.
What happens next
After closing, candidates already invited can still open and complete their assessment as long as their link is valid; their reports arrive as for any other candidate. After archiving, the campaign appears under Archived campaigns with its candidates and reports, read-only. Limits and permissions
- Any member of your organisation can close and archive a campaign.
- Archiving cannot be undone. To run the same recruitment again, duplicate the archived campaign: the job description and configuration are carried over (see "Duplicating a campaign").
- Closing lets ongoing assessments finish; archiving interrupts them. If candidates are still in progress, prefer closing and let automatic archiving do the rest.
