Duplicating a campaign

This article applies if you want to start from an existing campaign, active or archived, to open a new one with the same job description and configuration.

In short

Duplicate creates a new campaign from an existing one. A dialog asks what you carry over, the configuration and the automations, and in which organisation to create the copy. The new campaign starts with no candidates and can be edited freely until its first invitation.

Steps

  1. Open the campaign to duplicate, or find it under Archived campaigns.
  2. Click Duplicate.
  3. In the dialog, tick what you carry over: the configuration (job description, skills, assessment, threshold) and the automations.
  4. Choose the organisation in which to create the new campaign, then confirm.

What happens next

The copy opens as a new campaign, with no candidate and no result. You can change its configuration as long as no invitation has been sent, then add candidates (see "Inviting one or more candidates"). The original campaign is left unchanged.

Limits and permissions

  • Any member of your organisation can duplicate a campaign.
  • Duplicating is the only way to change the assessment, skills or threshold of a campaign that already has invited candidates: a running campaign stays frozen so that all its candidates are assessed under the same conditions.
  • Candidates, reports and shares of the original campaign are not carried over.
